Acclaimed Local Chef Takes the Lead at Fisher & Paykel's Newest Experience Center

COSTA MESA, Calif., July 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Fisher & Paykel opened their doors on the Costa Mesa Experience Center in February with new Executive Chef Rob Wilson.

Chef Rob Wilson, previously Executive Chef for Montage Laguna Beach (2010-2018), joins the team as Executive Chef and oversees all culinary activity and kitchen management - from providing premium fare during receptions and special events, to delivering product training via cooking demonstrations for dealers, designers and consumers.

With over 30 years of experience in luxury hospitality Chef Wilson, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America brings a wealth of culinary knowledge and skills to Fisher & Paykel. Prior to joining The Montage Laguna Beach Chef Wilson spent the past 13 years with The Ritz Carlton company where he was Executive Chef of three different properties and the last being Executive Chef at The Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel where he was named 2008 Chef of the Year by Chef magazine. Over the past two decades Chef Wilson assisted in opening multiple properties for both Montage and Ritz Carlton companies.

The 6,500 sq.ft. Experience Center features over 75 appliances, many of which are operable in the live culinary center – including Induction and Gas cooktops, Convection wall ovens, ranges and the Steam-Convection wall oven. In addition to Chef Wilson, the center is staffed by Showroom Manager Gina Lathrum, National Training Manager LaRon Doucet Jr. and Product Specialist Tyler Smith.
