Copper One Provides Update on Its Change of Business and Announces Proposed Name Change

TORONTO, Aug. 14, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Copper One Inc. (“Copper One” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has received conditional approval (the “Conditional Approval”) from the Canadian Securities Exchange (“CSE”) to proceed with a previously announced change of business to an investment company (the “Change of Business”) under the rules of the CSE, and to list its common shares (the “Common Shares”) on the CSE. As a result of the Conditional Approval, the Company has delisted its Common Shares from the TSX Venture Exchange effective August 13, 2019. The Company is working diligently to satisfy the remaining conditions set out in the Conditional Approval and will provide an update with the expected listing date in due course.

In addition, the Company announces its intention to change its name from “Copper One Inc.” to “QuestCap Inc.”, or such other name as the Company’s directors may determine, (the “Name Change”) to better reflect the Company’s business activities following completion of the Change of Business. The Company’s shareholders will be asked to adopt a special resolution approving the Name Change at its annual and special meeting of shareholders to be held on September 25, 2019.
