New deal marks the next step in the evolution of a much-celebrated Montreal brand.                                                                                                                               

MONTREAL, Dec. 7, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - Management of SPORTSCENE GROUP INC. ("Sportscene" or "the Company"; SPS.A / TSX Venture Exchange) and Lenny Lighter, longtime owner and operator of Moishes - a Montreal restaurant and retail institution that has delighted customers since 1938 – are pleased to announce Moishes' acquisition by Sportscene. The acquisition includes Moishes' landmark Saint-Laurent Boulevard restaurant, along with all Moishes' trademarks, branding, and the popular Moishes product line sold at major supermarkets and food retailers.

Lenny will continue to manage operations at Moishes, conserving the personality and family spirit that has built the brand's sustained popularity for decades.
